Before the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, the Bharatiya Janata Party has tried to woo smaller parties. BJP was once again slamming Om Prakash Rajbhar’s Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party, but Rajbhar has announced that he will not forge an alliance with BJP.

These leaders of Purvanchal are said to be very close to the Delhi Durbar. Not only this, he also has a good relationship with Om Prakash Rajbhar.

If sources are to be believed, two rounds of talks were also held between the senior BJP leader with Om Prakash Rajbhar. During this, along with implementing the report of the Rohini Commission, he was assured of re-entry in the Yogi cabinet. However, Om Prakash Rajbhar did not agree, he has openly refused to forge an alliance with the BJP.
BJP is allying again with smaller parties
Before the 2022 assembly elections, BJP wants to completely fix its equation and alliance. In this sequence, BJP had contact with Omprakash Rajbhar’s party. The very next day after the voting for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections ended, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath showed Omprakash Rajbhar the way out of the cabinet.
Rajbhar important factor in Purvanchal
In many districts of Purvanchal, the vote of Rajbhar community has the power to create and spoil the political equation. The population of Rajbhar community in UP is about 3 percent, but in the districts of Purvanchal, the number of Rajbhar voters is 12 to 22 percent.
Rajbhar community influences about four dozen seats in the state
The Rajbhar community influences the politics on both sides of the Ghaghra river. They have a sizeable population in Ghazipur, Chandauli, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Azamgarh, Lalganj, Ambedkarnagar, Machhlishahr, Jaunpur, Varanasi, Mirzapur and Bhadohi, which influence about four dozen assembly seats in the state.
BJP put Anil Rajbhar on the front
After the distance from Omprakash Rajbhar, the BJP, which is in power in UP, has put Anil Rajbhar on the front to garner Rajbhar votes. BJP is continuously projecting him as the leader of Rajbhar, for which Om Prakash has also been made in-charge of home district Ballia.
Despite this, the way Rajbhar community in Purvanchal rallied in favor of Om Prakash in the Panchayat elections. Not only this, many seats have been found in Ghazipur, Mau, Varanasi, Ballia and Azamgarh, due to which the process of bringing them back to BJP has accelerated.
