Lucknow: A case of alleged rape of a sick woman from Amethi has come to light at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Lucknow. The victim woman died on Saturday. His daughter told the entire incident to Union Minister Smriti Irani, who reached Amethi, that what happened with her mother in the hospital. Irani has asked the DM to conduct an inquiry in this matter. The DM has formed a three-member committee of SP, SDM and ACMO, which will investigate the developments in the hospital and the allegations of the girl.
The health of a woman from Amethi city deteriorated. So the family took him to the district hospital in Gauriganj. From where the doctors referred to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Lucknow. According to the girl, her mother reached the hospital on 7 June. Here he has been admitted on the fourth floor. It is alleged that the family was not allowed to go along. The next day when she met her mother, she told that she had been assaulted. And the wrong thing has been done.
According to the girl, after this she got her mother discharged from the hospital and took her to Amethi again. and showed up at the district hospital. But when the condition worsened again, the doctors again sent him to Lucknow, where he died on the way.
In media reports quoting the doctors of Gauriganj District Hospital, it has come to the fore that the victim woman has a black fungus. That is why he was referred to Lucknow, so that better treatment would be available there.
When Union Minister Smriti Irani reached Amethi on Saturday, the victim’s daughter told her the whole incident. Taking cognizance of the complaint of the girl, Irani asked the DM to look into the matter seriously. Therefore, the DM has also started the investigation by forming a three-member committee without delay. In media reports, DM has been quoted as saying that the matter is very serious. Whatever comes out in the investigation, further action will be taken on the basis of it.
The allegations of such an incident with a woman in a reputed hospital in Lucknow has once made the health department uneasy. Earlier, a woman in Bihar had made similar allegations.
