Lucknow: In cases related to land scams, UP CM Yogi Adityanath has taken major action in the land scam case. On the instructions of CM Yogi, three Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) surrounded by allegations of corruption in the land scam have been demoted and made Tehsildars. Orders in this regard have also been issued by the Appointment Department. The Deputy Collectors against whom this action has been taken by the UP government include the then SDM posted in Prayagraj, Shravasti and Moradabad.
Ramjit Maurya of Prayagraj, JP Chauhan of Shravasti and Ajay Kumar of Moradabad are included in the JD of the government’s action. CM Yogi
All these sub-divisional magistrates have been demoted and made tehsildars on the instructions of All of them are accused of rigging in the land scam.
SDM Prayagraj Ramjit, during his posting as Tehsildar in Mirzapur, had arbitrarily benefited a company by ignoring the rules in a land related matter. It is alleged that he had passed an order against the rules to buy the land.
Similarly, SDM Shravasti JP Chauhan, while holding the post of Tehsildar in Pilibhit, had decided to arbitrarily benefit a person in a land case. In the third case, SDM Moradabad Ajay Kumar, during his posting in the Greater Noida Authority, had acted arbitrarily on the rules in a land case and wrote a letter against the rules to benefit a person.
