New Delhi: The Minority Affairs Department of the All India Congress Committee has decided to launch a nationwide campaign tomorrow to educate and encourage minorities to benefit from minority welfare schemes. A long meeting has been held with the Chairmen of the Minority Sectors of all the States. The Marathon Meeting with the Chairmen of the Minority Affairs of the All India National Congress Committee chaired by the National Chairman of Minority Affairs Mr. Imran Pratapgarhi seriously considered in this regard.
There was intense deliberation on how to reconnect the country’s minorities with the Congress and talk about their problems. In addition, after being aware of the political and social problems of the minority community in the country in this meeting, Mr. Imran Pratapgarhi assured to make every effort to solve the problems and said that we will do our best to reach them. In the meeting, Mr. Shibli Manzoor, Vice President, Bihar Congress Minority Affairs and Organizational In-Charge, suggested that the Department of Minority Affairs should launch a national campaign to bring maximum benefits to the minority community through minority welfare schemes. Under this campaign, block level Congress workers should be provided complete information about Central and State Government schemes for minority welfare, how to avail benefits from which scheme, when it will be implemented and which The officer or office will provide information on how this scheme is implemented, etc.
These block level workers will motivate as many people as possible to take advantage of these schemes and help them. He also said that a pressure group should also be formed, which is in constant touch with the concerned officer and office. In the meantime, take prompt and fair action on the applications of the schemes and monitor them. Approving the proposal, Mr. Imran Pratapgarhi said that it would ensure our participation in the welfare of the minority community. He directed the chairmen of all the states to launch similar campaigns in their respective states. He also said that the implementation and supervision of the campaign would be done by the national executive itself.
