Allahabad High Court: Justice Sanjay Yadav appointed Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court, took oath of office and secrecy

Lucknow: Acting Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court Justice Sanjay Yadav today took the oath of office and secrecy as the Chief Justice of the High Court. Governor Anandiben Patel administered the oath to Justice Sanjay Yadav this afternoon at Raj Bhavan in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Many other ministers and senior officials, including CM Yogi, were also present on this occasion.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, State Law and Law Minister Brajesh Pathak, Chief Secretary RK Tiwari, DGP HC Awasthi and Justice Sanjay Yadav and his family members were present in the swearing-in ceremony of Justice Sanjay Yadav as Chief Justice.

Explain that the tenure of Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court Justice Sanjay Yadav is only till 25th of this month. Earlier, he was serving as the acting Chief Justice since April 14.
Justice Sanjay Yadav started his career as a lawyer in Madhya Pradesh on 25 August 1986. He also started practice in Madhya Pradesh High Court. Served as Deputy Advocate General of Madhya Pradesh. He was then elevated as a judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court on March 2, 2007.

Justice Yadav was made a permanent judge on 15 January 2010. Was appointed as Acting Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court from 6 October, 2019 to 02 November, 2019 and from 30 September, 2020 to 02 January, 2021.

Justice Sanjay Yadav is an advocate of civil, constitutional and revenue matters. He has also been the Deputy Advocate General of Madhya Pradesh.
