Activist Varavara Rao grants six months bail by Bombay High Court in Bhima Koregaon case!

The Mumbai High court on weekday granted bail to 82-year-old revolutionary writer and human rights defender Varavara Rao in Bhima Koregaon’s case on medical grounds.

According to legal website Bar and Bench, the Court has granted the octogenarian bail Rao for an amount of six months. “We very feel that with the case of the underneath trial, it’ll be inappropriate to send him back (to jail).

it might be applicable to impose such conditions,” asserting its finding of fact nowadays, the Bench control. Rao has been granted bail on the condition that he must keep among the jurisdiction of the Special NIA Court.
